Description: 
Tracking Habitat Change will be the focus of the next Bureau of Land Management (BLM) satellite broadcast. This interactive educational program will be broadcast live from the BLM National Training Center. Scheduled for March 4, 2004, this is the third in the BLM's "Share the Adventure!" series. Geared to the Middle School audience, the broadcast will take students on an electronic field trip to sagebrush and prairie plant communities to look at how scientists study habitat change. A section on technology will cover the use of satellite imagery and GIS in habitat management. The program will be correlated to National Science Education Standards and will be accompanied by a website and an educator's guide. The program will be broadcast twice on March 4th to accommodate schools across the country.
