Local government

  • County - e.g. county commissioners, supervisors, extension services, weed and pest department, planners.
  • Tribal - e.g. tribal leaders, community relations.
  • Cities - e.g. council members, parks and recreation, planning/zoning, community development, school district, higher education.

General Public Possibilities:

Local interest groups

  • Business/tourism connection - e.g. chambers of commerce, office of tourism, Rotary, Kiwanis.
  • Livelihood connection - e.g. farmers, ranchers, loggers, fishermen, miners, outfitters, businessmen, real estate, local RC&D Councils.
  • Recreation connection - e.g. fishing clubs, sportsman groups, boaters, skiers, snowboarders, off-highsway vehicle groups, birders, hiking clubs, bikers, campers.
