Management of Designated Wilderness Areas

The Bureau of Land Management’s (BLM) designated wilderness areas are managed as part of the BLM's National Landscape Conservation System (National Conservation Lands).  This 38-minute presentation provides a brief policy summary for BLM employees on the management of areas designated as wilderness by Congress.  This presentation covers one manual:  Manual 6340 – Management of Designated Wilderness Areas.
